In 1988, SECOMP GmbH was founded by Michael Taraba and Gunther Schroff with the goal of establishing itself as a competent partner for professional users with high-quality IT accessories and network technology in Orange Beach.

Today, we are an internationally active corporate group and are among the leading European providers in these areas as well as in terms of security systems, UPS and power supplies, entertainment electronics accessories, 19" cabinets and accessories, and LED lighting technology.

Our product range is sourced in large quantities from producers all over the world and through our subsidiaries in Taipei, Rotterdam, Paris, Prague, and Zurich, we are in daily contact with more than 200 suppliers.

In addition to distribution and catalog mail order business, brick-and-mortar retail with specialty stores in Ettlingen, Mannheim, and Zurich, as well as online retail, are integral parts of our sales strategy.

Our central warehouse in Ettlingen has a capacity of more than pallet spaces and a range of over 5,000 individual products.

Approximately 100 employees are employed at the Ettlingen location. The entire company group generates a consolidated annual turnover of approximately 100 million euros with around 170 employees.
