Job Description:
As the Production Manager at Taylon Skylights, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the manufacturing process to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.
You will be responsible for managing production schedules, optimizing workflow, and leading a team of production staff to achieve operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Production Oversight:
Manage all aspects of the manufacturing process, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization, to meet production targets and deadlines.
2.Quality Assurance:
Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure products meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations.
3.
Team Leadership:
Lead, coach, and mentor production staff to foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
4.
Safety Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
5.Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains, implementing strategies to streamline operations and reduce waste.
6.
Inventory Management:
Oversee inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure adequate stock of materials and supplies for production.
7.
Equipment Maintenance:
Coordinate maintenance and repair of production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
8.
Reporting and Analysis:
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track production metrics and identify areas for improvement, providing regular reports to management.
9.Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with other departments such as engineering, sales, and customer service to ensure alignment of production activities with company goals and customer needs.
10.Continuous Learning:
Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in manufacturing to drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field degree preferred.
- Proven experience in production management, preferably in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of production processes and techniques.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing operational challenges.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and experience implementing process improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and protocols.
- Proficiency in project management, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Pay:
$75, $95,000.00 per year
