    Job Description
    Case Support SpecialistThis is an exciting opportunity to join a leading, national lab. You will responsible for the coordination of patient case logistics, ensuring operational turnaround times are in compliance with standards and meet Pathologist and client expectations.Responsibilities:
    • Prioritize and monitor cases throughout the day, providing status updates as required.
    • Assess caseloads and distribute cases to Pathologists
    • Act as liaison between Pathology Department and others; i.e. Client Services, Lab Ops, Sales, etc.
    • Troubleshoot missing or delayed cases and find solutions to discrepancies
    • Facilitate add-on test requests for Pathologists
    • Monitor and manage daily send out of cases
    • Facilitate report changes
    • Document clinical information and patient history from provided charts; enter into laboratory information system (LIS)
    • Monitor, collect, and transport cases to and from labs and offices
    • Administrative duties as needed; copying, filing, data entry, etc.
    Requirements and Desired Experience:
    • Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in science field preferred
    • At least 1 year of experience in medical field or clinical lab preferred.
    • Knowledge and ability to learn databases and software applications
    • Experience with Microsoft Office programs.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Very good writing and proofreading skills
    Compensation: $20 - $24 per hour
