- Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
- Collecting invoice approvals and entering approved payables into the system
- Ensuring proper coding of payables
- Assisting with the monthly close process
- Responding to vendor inquiries timely and professionally
- Collaborating with other departments on new vendor requests and providing guidance on AP process
- Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
- Maintaining vendor records; new vendor setup, process address/banking changes
- Preparing monthly expense accrual journal entries; and
- Continuing to improve the payment process.
- The finance department is team oriented and, from time to time, special projects will be assigned.

We are looking for a detail-oriented accounts payable specialist to help manage our AP process by verifying invoice approvals, entering invoices into our ERP system, reconciling account statements, and communicating with our vendors.
Experience with analyzing accounts payable processes, identifying areas where improvements can be made, and making process improvement recommendations to management is highly desired.
