Position Information
The Assistant Controller reports directly to the Associate Vice Chancellor-Business & Financial Services and Controller and serves as the deputy of the Business & Financial Services division.
Responsibilities include the development and management of accounting-related processes and controls involving the general ledger: contracts and grants, endowments, gift funds, sales & services, auxiliary and plant funds, cash management and banking, access and controls, and year-end closing and audit.
The full salary range for the Assistant Controller is $107, $207,200.00 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is $107, $157,200.00 annually.We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
As a university employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time.
