- Work with the Controller to establish annual budget and financial projections.
- Prepare and file all required reports with DMHC and CMS.
- Review IBNR reserve calculations.
- Assist the Controller to oversee financial statement production, payables, and banking transactions.
- Prepare the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and other reports for the Plan and MSO as assigned by the Controller.
- Review reports from other departments including Risk Pool reconciliations, monthly IPA capitation and agent commission calculations.
- Assist in IPA financial oversight.
- Assist in financial audits.
- Identify gaps and recommend updates and changes to accounting processes and procedures.
- Other finance & accounting duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- 4+ years of experience in a health plan/MSO/IPA.
- 2+ years in a supervisory role.
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience in using EZCAP and QuickBooks preferred.
