    Description


    Insight Global is looking for an Assistant Controller to join a large Health plan client of ours in Orange, CA.

    The position will be on-site in Orange, CA Monday through Friday.

    The primary responsibility of the Assistant Controller will be to work alongside the Controller throughout their day to day operations.

    The job responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:


    • Work with the Controller to establish annual budget and financial projections.
    2. Prepare and file all required reports with DMHC and CMS.

    3. Review IBNR reserve calculations.

    4. Assist the Controller to oversee financial statement production, payables, and banking transactions.

    5.

    Prepare the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and other reports for the Plan and MSO as assigned by the Controller.


    Review reports from other departments including Risk Pool reconciliations, monthly IPA capitation and agent commission calculations.

    CPA

    • Experience working with Stock base calculations / IPO / or stock calculations
    • 4+ Years of experience in a health plan/MSO/IPA
    • Experience working with the Controller to establish annual budget and financial projections.
    • Experience preparing and filing all required reports with DMHC and CMS.
