    **Job Summary**

    The Sr. Cost Accountant position is responsible for capital budget management and asset (inventory/fixed asset) management.

    **Essential Functions**

    Capital budgeting

    Proposal reviews related to purchases/disposals/budgets review

    Physical fixed asset inspection

    Physical inventory counting

    Updating fixed asset policy and delegation of powers

    Setting up standard procedures related to capital budget management and asset management

    Delivering monthly capital budget/asset reports to upper management

    Assisting in the review and assessment of accounting and financial reporting implications of new accounting related to inventory/fixed asset, and communication with external auditors

    Other duties as assigned

    **Minimum Education and Experience Requirements**

    Bachelors degree in accounting, business administration, or finance

    5 years of experience in public or private accounting

    Strong working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

    Strong financial analysis and problem solving skills

    **Preferred Education and Experience Requirements**

    CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CPA candidate

    SAP experience
