- Cost Analysis and Reporting:
- Prepare and review cost reports, identifying and clarifying variances.
- Maintain precise records of cost data for internal and external reporting.
- Conduct routine audits of cost accounting procedures for accuracy and compliance.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in creating annual budgets and forecasts.
- Inventory Management
- Calculate standard costs for products and keep them up to date.
- Analyze production costs and suggest efficiency enhancements.
- Collaborate with production, procurement, and finance teams to ensure the accuracy of cost information.
- Offer financial analysis support to various departments to aid decision-making.
- Identify and execute process enhancements to boost the precision and effectiveness of cost accounting activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in cost accounting or a similar role.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or production setting is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel functions like pivot tables and vlookups
