We are seeking experienced insurance collections specialist to join our team. They will assist with:

Reviewing amounts paid for underpayment
Contacting insurance companies on outstanding claims
Handling corrections and resubmissions
Processing all appeal requests within the time frame required
Processing approved adjustments
Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Preferred qualifications:

Knowledge of medical billing practices and claim reimbursement
Strong working knowledge of insurance denials and appeals processes
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently, be detail-oriented and organized
