    Salary Range:
    $130,000 - $158,500**The salary range is the one that Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP reasonably expects to pay for this position. The salary range does not guarantee, obligate, nor set expectations of an applicant's wage in the event of hire. The posted range is only one component of Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP's Total Rewards package.


    JOB SUMMARY:


    In conjunction with the Director of Recruiting, the Legal Recruiting Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the legal recruiting department.

    The Legal Recruiting Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the department's daily operations including processes, data, technology systems, and policies.

    This position also oversees lateral hiring and manages outside recruiting agencies.

    The manager works with the Director, Recruiting Manager and the Chairs of the firm's recruiting committee and other firm leaders to develop the infrastructure to support sourcing, attracting, and hiring highly-talented and diverse attorneys.

    A key function of the manager's duties is to document and streamline workflow and recruiting policies.

    JOB FUNCTIONS Recruiting ManagementWorks collaboratively with Director and Legal Recruiting Manager to oversee department staff, ensure commitments are kept and operations run smoothly.

    Acts as backup support to the Director and Recruiting Manager.
    Work closely with senior leaders, committee chairs and attorneys in the firm.
    Manage assigned legal recruiting team members to ensure seamless operation of the department.

    Manage the lateral recruiting as assigned by Director, including meeting with partners to determine staffing needs and recruiting talent both directly through existing relationships in the market and through relationships with external legal recruiters and headhunters.

    Department AdministrationInitiate, manage and regularly report on process improvement initiatives aimed towards streamlining and enhancing department procedures and policies.
    Assist the department in identifying and implementing an enhanced applicant tracking and recruiting management system.
    Oversee the maintenance of files for all open positions and all active candidates and prospects.
    Oversee the preparation of offer packages and ensure appropriate handoff to Attorney Development for onboarding.
    Create and deliver recruiting data and information for committee and firm use.
    Spearhead initiatives to centralize recruiting related data and develop efficient ways to respond to data and information requests.
    Performs other projects and tasks as assigned.

    • HRISMINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree is strongly preferred.

    A minimum of four years of management level recruiting experience in a law firm or professional services and prior supervisory experience is strongly preferred.

    Ability to work effectively with all levels of management.
    Ability to break down situations that seems complex into easily digestible solutions.
    Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    Knowledge of legal employment issues.
    Ability to understand unconscious bias and its effect on recruiting and hiring.
    Strong organizational skills needed to manage time well, prioritize effectively and handle multiple deadlines.
    Ability to set priorities, work independently and handle a variety of duties effectively under time constraints.
    Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the appropriate discretion.
    Resourceful, ability to find creative solutions and avenues to fulfill the firm's recruiting needs.
    Highly proactive and responsive.
    Proficiency in using social media platforms to promote the firm's recruiting efforts.
    Ability to develop and analyze reports and projections regarding market trends in diversity, legal recruiting and retention.
    Ability to quickly and comfortably understand workflow and can document and improve it efficiently.
