    A **Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)** is a professional dedicated to understanding and addressing problematic behaviors in both children and adults.


    **Responsibilities**:

    • Observe and assess patients' behavior
    • Collaborate with families, teachers, and medical professionals to discuss treatment progress and provide recommendations for behavioral issues
    • Develop personalized plans to correct, maintain, or enhance behaviors
    • Set up simulated conditions for client observation
    • Create tailored treatment plans considering cognitive, social, emotional, and sensory aspects
    • Adhere to the **Assent methodology**
    • Implement treatment and adjust interventions when necessary
    • Recommend additional care from specialists if needed
    • Operate efficiently within resource limitations
    • Stay updated on evidence-based practices through ongoing research
    • Promote the integration of individuals with disorders and disabilities into society

    **Requirements**:

    • Proficiency in **Assent-based applied behavior analysis** techniques
    • Proactive intervention strategies
    • Capability to identify **Assent Withdrawal**
    • Knowledge of **Principles of Reinforcement**
    • Understanding of children and adolescents' developmental processes
    • Effective interpersonal skills to manage crisis situations
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Products and other technologies

    **Education and Experience**:

    • Previous experience with 10 to young adults having developmental disabilities or unique learning requirements
    • **Board Certification**

    **Physical Requirements**:

    • Extended periods of sitting or computer work
    • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
    • Repetitive physical tasks like data entry

    **Patient demographics**:

    • Adolescents
    • Adults
    • Children

    **Schedule**:

    • Day shift
    • Monday to Friday

    **Work Location**: In person
