- Uses the adopted Pro-ACT Model to:
- Onboard new staff, train in incident documentation
- Coordinate, schedule, create, and deliver professional development; serves as CPCSC district trainer
- Review, monitor, maintain and analyze behavioral data, seclusion and restraint data
- Upon reviewing data, implementation coach sets, attends, and leads behavior/crisis debriefing meetings
- Lead and actively model crisis communication
- Provide initial and refresher training to building level crisis teams
- Assist in the development of re-entry and suspension return plans
- Develop FBAs and BIPs
- Trains, Onboards, and Delivers Orientation to Staff:
- In collaboration with special education coordinator, provides orientation to new staff and administration, IAs, transportation staff
- Provides professional development at the school and district level
- Assists With Referral and Transitions of Special Programming:
- Assists schools and coordinator in data collection and preparing necessary paperwork for referral to intensive educational programs.
- Collaborates with Staff and Administration:
- Provides consultation, coaching, modeling, and implementation of best practices of behavioral interventions
- Conducts classroom observations, data collection, and delivers coaching, modeling, and interventions to special education staff, general education staff for students with intense behavior challenges
- Collaborates with classroom management coaches to assist in the implementation of classroom management routines, procedures, transitions. Delivers coaching and feedback with regard to behavior modification and programming for students with intense behavior challenges
- Assists with the IEP process:
- Guides and assists with development, implementation, and data recording of FBAs and BIPs
- Assists staff in recommending supplementary aids and supports, program modifications
- Available to assist as a member of the school's problem solving team; monitors progress and provides feedback on documentation according to individual cases, as needed. Attends student staffings and case conferences
- Provides leadership in relation to behavior challenges
- Serve on the following district committees: PBIS, Behavior
- Maintain appropriate confidentiality and professionalism
- Act as liaison between school staff/administration, special education administration, and school personnel
- Meet regularly with
- Performs all other duties as assigned by the Director of Special Education
- The desirable candidate holds a bachelor's degree; Master's degree is preferred
- Knowledge and experience in best practices in behavior modification and/or with students with behavior difficulties, trauma, and/or mental illness

PERF:
CPCSC is a Non-PERF District POSITION PURPOSE
The Implementation Coach collaboratively provides support to CPCSC students, staff, and administration in relation to behavior programming, interventions, data collection, and professional development.
This position ensures students with behavior difficulties receive educational services in their least restrictive environment while equipping staff to meet the unique needs through consistent language, practice, and uniform implementation of district-wide practices.
