- Be able to interface with our patients and staff in the utmost professional manner.
- Execute tasks with a high level of accuracy
- Expert knowledge in Verification of Patient benefits and fielding insurance issues
- Be responsible for the billing that is submitted for assigned offices
- Be able to create patient invoices and superbills
- MINIMUM 2 years' experience in medical billing and/or verification of benefits
- Knowledge using Microsoft Suite (Excel / Word / Etc)
- EMR / EHR experience (Valant or EPIC is a plus)
- Vacation 2 weeks (80 hours)
- Sick Time 6 days (48 hrs)
- 401k with 5% matching of 1st 5% contributed
