Medical Billing Specialist

Our client is a multi-site psychiatric practice seeking an experienced ad full-time VOB and medical billing specialist for our billing department.

Be familiar with medical billing
Have strong critical thinking and executive function skills
Have strong time management skills
Be able to multitask, have excellent organizational skills
Be able to interface with our patients and staff in the utmost professional manner.
Execute tasks with a high level of accuracy

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Expert knowledge in Verification of Patient benefits and fielding insurance issues
Be responsible for the billing that is submitted for assigned offices
Be able to create patient invoices and superbills

Required:

MINIMUM 2 years' experience in medical billing and/or verification of benefits
Knowledge using Microsoft Suite (Excel / Word / Etc)
EMR / EHR experience (Valant or EPIC is a plus)

Full Time (40 hours per week)

Job Location:
ON SITE Pasadena, CA. Your position will be onsite and based out of our Pasadena headquarters.

Hours:
This department is open from 7:30am - 6pm.

Vacation 2 weeks (80 hours)
