Certified Healthcare Billing seeks a highly skilled and motivated Medical Collection Specialist to join our esteemed team.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively manage and follow up on outstanding medical accounts receivable.
• File appeals and Disputes on denied claims
• Utilize indepth knowledge of medical billing codes, insurance policies, and regulations for successful resolution
• Communicate professionally with insurance companies, patients, and healthcare providers to address collection issues
• Analyze and interpret explanation of benefits (EOB) and remittance advice for accurate account reconciliation
• Stay abreast of changes in healthcare regulations and insurance industry practices

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Medical Collections
• Proficient in medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR)
• Knowledge of medical billing codes (CPT, ICD10, HCPCS)
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Detailoriented with a focus on accuracy in account reconciliation
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Previous experience in a certified healthcare billing role is advantageous
