    Job DescriptionSalary: $25-$27/hour DOE

    Medical Billing Specialist

    Our client is a multi-site psychiatric practice seeking an experienced ad full-time VOB and medical billing specialist for our billing department.

    Our ideal candidate will:

    • Be familiar with medical billing

    • Have strong critical thinking and executive function skills

    • Have strong time management skills

    • Be able to multi-task, have excellent organizational skills

    • Be able to interface with our patients and staff in the utmost professional manner.

    • Execute tasks with a high level of accuracy

    Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Expert knowledge in Verification of Patient benefits and fielding insurance issues

    • Be responsible for the billing that is submitted for assigned offices

    • Be able to create patient invoices and superbills

    Required:

    • MINIMUM 2 years' experience in medical billing and/or verification of benefits

    • Knowledge using Microsoft Suite (Excel / Word / Etc)

    • EMR / EHR experience (Valant or EPIC is a plus)

    Details:
    Job Type: Full Time (40 hours per week)
    Job Location: ON SITE Pasadena, CA. Your position will be onsite and based out of our Pasadena headquarters.

    Hours: This department is open from 7:30am – 6pm.
