- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave administration; disciplinary matters; performance and talent management; recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Collaborates with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, job specifications, duties and responsibilities, competencies, qualifications, and skills required for open positions.
- Maintains job postings in ADP, Indeed, Handshake, etc. and screens applicants and sharing qualified candidates with the hiring team, conducts phone screenings, schedules in-person interviews and participates in candidate interviews as needed.
- Provides guidance and reference information/materials to hiring managers in preparation for candidate interviews.
- Engages with external recruiters and outside employment agencies to attract and identify select candidates when necessary.
- Supports various payroll duties including entering new hires, removing terminated employees and other change requests and addressing associates' payroll-related issues and questions.
- Assists with various Benefit administration duties including the enrollment of new hires, processing of any benefit changes, and resolving employee inquiries and concerns regarding benefit coverages
- Perform reference and background checks.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

- Proven ability to handle confidential information.
- Bachelor's Degree in human resources, business administration or other related field preferred.
- SHRM certification preferred.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in the human resources field.
- Requires prolonged sitting.
- Requires frequent operation of office equipment; such as a computer, copy machine, telephone, etc.
- Occasional stretching and / or bending to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc.
- Occasional standing and walking required.

Job Purpose
The Human Resources Generalist handles daily functions of the Human Resources department including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, payroll, benefits, leave, company policies and practices.

· Oversees the execution and coordination of the onboarding and orientation process for new associates.
