    Soni Resources' client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join their Human Resources team as a

    Human Resources Specialist .

    You will play a key role in supporting all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to ongoing support and compliance.


    Responsibilities:
    Manage the new hire onboarding process, ensuring a smooth and positive first-day experience for new employees.
    Provide comprehensive HR support to employees on various matters, including benefits, leaves of absence, and performance management.
    Assist with payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate updates to employee records.
    Contribute to maintaining and communicating company policies and procedures, including the employee handbook.
    Partner with Risk Management to administer shipboard claims and ensure compliance with all regulations.
    Maintain a strong understanding of employment laws and regulations, keeping abreast of industry trends and best practices.
    Analyze claim activity and prepare reports to identify opportunities for process improvement and risk mitigation.

    Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or similar field (preferred).
    Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
    Analytical mind and ability to solve problems.
    Prioritization, delegation, and professional conduct are essential.
    Knowledge of employment laws and HR software a plus.


    Compensation:
    $70,000-$80,000 annually
    Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications .
