    Description

    Position Overview:

    We are currently looking for a Land Acquisition Manager to handle lot and land acquisition activities in the DFW market by researching, identifying, and negotiating new purchase and sale opportunities.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Locates and acquires land for the development of subdivisions in specific market areas.
    • Analyzes markets for potential acquisitions within profitability ranges and feasibility criteria.
    • Develops property contact and landowner contact listings through research and analysis; establishes builder and developer contacts.
    • Assists in evaluating land for acquisition; recommends actions in line with Company guidelines.
    • Prepares letters of intent (LOI) and negotiates contracts with potential sellers.
    • Monitors inventory of available lots for sale.
    • Conducts due diligence for land pursuits.
    • Assists with special projects and additional duties as needed.

    Position Requirements:

    • Bachelors degree required.
    • Two or more years of experience in residential land/lot acquisition and brokerage.
    • Success track record in similar positions.
    • Knowledge of real estate planning, financial analysis, and market research.
    • Skilled in negotiations.
    • Strong communication and organizational skills.
    • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
    • Adaptable to changes and able to work flexible hours.
