SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition the individual is responsible for leading the recruitment team to identify and hire top talent to join the Methodist Health System mission.
The individual collaborates with People & Culture, Talent Acquisition and operational leaders in the development and execution of the Methodist Health System recruitment function.
Partners with system wide stakeholder's on all opportunities relating to elevating our recruitment process with the goal of developing a world-class candidate experience.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for overseeing and implementing recruitment strategies to meet organizational needs.
Manages the candidate funnel and experience to ensure that candidates are promptly reviewed by the talent acquisition partners and leaders to accelerate the screening process.
Manages all current open jobs to ensure that they meet internal guidelines on accuracy, consistency and efficiency as it relates to job board optimization.
Optimizes the utilization of existing technologies, relationships and branding engagements to obtain the highest return on investment.Manages the training and development of talent acquisition partners to ensure that they are well versed in communicating clearly with candidates during the screening process and that they accurately negotiate employment terms and offers.
Lead coach and mentor a team of talent acquisition professionalsEvaluate and adapts talent acquisition programs, tools and initiatives using analytics and data driven insights in support of evolving business needs.
Manages vendor relationships for any recruitment related contracts.Serves as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, HR leaders and hiring managers
Establishes and maintains relationships with educational institutions, employment agencies, placement firms, industry groups, and other sources of applicants to maximize recruiting efforts and exposure in the community
Ensures compliance with all company related policies, legal requirements and equal employment opportunity guidelines through the recruitment process.
Leads people toward meeting the organization's vision, mission, and goals.
Provides an inclusive workplace that fosters the development of others, facilitates cooperation and teamwork, and supports constructive resolution of conflicts.
Serves as a role model by demonstrating commitment to innovation and continuous improvement in talent acquisition screening performance.Exceeds departmental and organizational goals and customer expectations. Owns and manages special projects as assigned by Director of Talent Acquisition or other People & Culture leaders.

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Entrepreneurship or other related fields.
Scrum Certification preferred.
HR Certification preferred
Previous Work Experience
5 or more years of Recruitment, Sourcing, Branding or general Human Resources experience.
2 years of management and/or leadership experience and increasing responsibility within the talent acquisition function.
