    Acquisitions Manager Responsibilities

    With support and guidance from the entire TruAmerica Team, the Acquisitions Manager will assist the Acquisitions and Asset Management teams in the following ways:
    Responsible for managing and overseeing all analyst and intern level functions of the investment process. This includes reviewing underwriting, reviewing investment memos, and running the due diligence/closing process
    Assist the Acquisitions Officer in sourcing marketed and off-market multifamily investment opportunities in target markets.
    The scope of responsibilities of co-sourcing involves creating and maintaining relationships with principals and investment sales brokers, tracking pipeline of potential investment opportunities, and screening deals based on TruAmerica's investment criteria
    Partners directly with lenders (agencies, bank, life co, debt fund) to source, evaluate, and close the optimal form of debt capital for each investment opportunity
    Manages and trains analysts/interns on primary expectations.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree or higher with a major in real estate business, finance, economics or related field.

    The ideal candidate will have prior business experience at a real estate investment firm, commercial mortgage banking firm, financial institution, or accounting firm.

    Candidates with strong backgrounds in other areas will also be considered.
    Excel, PowerPoint, and Word experience a must along with strong quantitative and analytical skills
    Familiarity with financial models that include complex financial and waterfall analysis
    Attention to detail and a desire to produce the highest quality work product
    Superior organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple complex and diversified work-streams in a fast-paced environment
    A flexible team player who takes initiative and is dedicated, hard-working, and has an ability to work in a collaborative environment

    Salary Range


    The annual base salary range for this position is at or around $125,00.00 with potential for a discretionary annual bonus.
