    Job Position: IT Systems Engineer

    Location: San Diego - Hybrid

    Salary Range: $115,606 - $159,536 (Based on experience)

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a skilled IT Systems Engineer to join our team and manage all aspects of our day-to-day operations. This role involves providing technical support to users, troubleshooting and resolving issues, and offering expert guidance to enhance our business operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure, networking, and system administration, coupled with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of security and performance.

    Job Responsibilities:
    • Deploy, manage, and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
    • Maintain and administer computer networks and related environments, including system and application software, hardware, and configurations.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network/system issues.
    • Monitor and test application performance, identify potential issues, and collaborate with support teams to implement solutions.
    • Ensure network, software, and physical security measures are maintained.
    • Configure and install various system and network devices, such as switches, servers, firewalls, and wireless controllers.
    • Provide Tier II/III technical support to users.
    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Expert knowledge with the management of Intune, Entra Active Directory, DNS, SNMP, and DHCP.
    • Expert knowledge with the management and implementation of Group Policies (GPO).
    • Experience with the designing, configuring, and testing of network devices, software, and computer hardware.
    • Expert knowledge with Virtual Private Networks (VPN) management and implementation.
    • Expert knowledge with Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN).
    • Experience in the installation, configuration, and management of Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization/VM Ware
    • Experience with configuration and management of various Networking devices.
    • Experience with configuration and management of various Firewalls.
    • Experience with the configuration and management of various Wi-Fi Technologies.
    • Experience with the deployment and administration of Microsoft Server Operating Systems.
    • Experience with database technologies, (MS-SQL).
    • Perform system and network maintenance to include system upgrades, service patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
    • Monitor System and Network performance to ensure availability and reliability are always up.
    • Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network and system infrastructure.
    • Experience with vendor management.
    Job Requirements: Required

    Education and Experience:
    • Associate's degree or advanced degree in Information Technology or a related field.
    • Associate's degree with 5 years and IT certifications, or Bachelor's degree with 3 years, or Master's degree with 1 year of experience in the information technology industry.
    Preferred:
    • CCNP - Cisco Certified Network Professional (preferred)
    • CompTIA Network+ (preferred)
    • MCSE - Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (preferred)
    • Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate/Expert (preferred)
    • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) (preferred)
