About Fernando Espinosa:

Cloud enthusiast with experience in system administration and risk monitoring. Over the course of my career, I have consistently demonstrated my ability to manage and analyze data from a wide range of sources, including operating systems, third-party and SIEM tools, cloud-native services, and other proprietary applications (Splunk).

 My experience also extends to organizing and executing customer-facing tasks through ticket queues, mentoring team members, participating in the recruitment and hiring process, and managing complex projects with minimal oversight.

I pride myself on my ability to work within a team, collaborating effectively to ensure the satisfaction and security of our clients. I understand the importance of maintaining a high level of diligence and responsibility, particularly when serving as part of an on-call escalation schedule for grievances and other internal support.

Experience

Title: Cyber Security Support Engineer
● Perform basic network and vulnerability scams with nmap and nikto respectively
● Troubleshoot and support AWS services, Virtual Machines, Active Directory, LDAP
● Develop queries to support log analytics with Splunk dashboards and visualizations
● Continuously monitor network and system activity for signs of security threats
● Maintain detailed records of security incidents, actions taken, and configurations
