**Recruiter - Drivers**

At Pilgrims, *Safety Is A Condition*, which means the safety of our team members comes first - always.

We have implemented safety measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. We are working to ensure social distancing within our facility. We have installed physical barriers throughout our facility such as plexi-glass or plastic barriers between team member work stations. Each day, temperature screens are performed for each employee and visitor before entering the facility. Face coverings are provided and required over the mouth and nose at all times when inside the facility, and enhanced cleaning and sanitation is regularly performed.

**DRIVER RECRUITER**

The Driver Recruiter is responsible for identifying, sourcing and recruiting qualified Class A company drivers.

The ideal candidate will have experience in working with Drivers, human resources, operations, transportation, fleet safety and safety divisions. You will be responsible for executing daily tasks such as recruiting, interviewing, on-boarding assistance; if needed , and creating a positive business environment for long-term retention of company drivers.

Job Responsibilities :

Actively recruit Company Drivers through various advertisement mediums and lead generation.

Utilize all company resources to complete the Recruiting process (Phone, computer, Internet, etc.); Manages the necessary sourcing and advertising of openings.

Develop and maintain a database of Com pany Drivers.

Develops and maintai ns a full understanding of the driver labor market.

Help improve Company Driver Retention promote a positive business environment and become a source of guidance for drivers

Work closely with fleet safety and facilities management to identify staffing needs and requirements. Must be able to track and report on all activities on a routine basis

Develops networks with external sources to continually improve sourcing opportunities

Some previous human resources experience

Develops and maintains relationships with drivers through a variety of sources, electronically and face to face locally.

Maintains and promotes DOT compliance during recruitment and hiring process;

Ensures compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations;

Reviewing weekly reports on Driver performance.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Capacity to multitask and handle high levels of stress.

Other ad hoc duties will be assigned as needed

. Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years equivalent experience. Bachelor's degree preferred

Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects/tasks in a fast pace, changing environment.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written

Must be a ble to conduct phone interviews ; Maintain a sales mentality and conduct cold calls on a regular basis

Strong prioritization skills, multi-tasking skills, and works with a sense of urgency i n a fast-paced and changing environment

Passion for recruiting

Knowledge of DOT regulations

Ability to motivate others

Pleasant phone manners

Typing skills ; submit reports using MS Office, Tenstreet and internal software programs

Problem solving skills

Listening skills
