Direct experience working with diverse groups of trans or genderqueer populations is desired, but any cultural competency with trans or genderqueer populations is a plus.
Project AFFIRM is seeking a part-time employee (19 hours/week) to assist with a study of transgender, transsexual, trans, nonbinary, gender non-conforming, and genderqueer Atlantans.
1 year of direct experience conducting study outreach and survey administration.
Completion of a bachelor's degree and 1 year of experience OR
Equivalent combination of experience, training, and/or education.
A valid drivers license required and reliable transportation for travel to and from interviews.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
Microsoft office:
Word/Excel. Excellent communication skills.
Physical Demands
This position will require occasional night time and weekend hours. The ability to work extended periods of time at a computer and lifting of 20 lbs.
Is driving required to perform essential duties outlined in this position? (This does not include infrequent trips) The successful candidate would have to provide proof that s/he has a valid driver's license when offered employment.

Conduct interviews with eligible participants and organize recruitment and retention efforts

Distribute promotional materials, such as cards, flyers, or branded objects, at recruitment events and venues
Percentage of time 10 Duties/Responsibilities
Attend weekly ATLANTA AFFIRM and multi-site Project AFFIRM meetings
Percentage of time 15
