Position Summary:

The Retail Store Financial Analyst will assume ownership of various the FP&A function of various departments from a reporting and business partnership perspective.

The Retail Store Financial Analyst will prepare and deliver weekly commercial results and KPI dashboards, prepare store-level management P&Ls and other monthly reports and analysis, drive the store level budgeting and forecast process, and prepare financial models and other ad-hoc financial analysis as necessary.

This role requires working closely with various operations teams and leading weekly status calls and monthly performance reviews to help identify risks and opportunities as well as recommend actions.

Responsibilities

Preparation of weekly and monthly reports including KPI dashboards and management P&Ls.
Financial modeling related to strategic initiatives and investments
Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Assist in the preparation of Board of Directors presentations
Ad-hoc financial analysis based on the needs of the business

Working Relationships

This position will require close partnership with banner field management teams and collaboration with other store support center team members

Minimum Education

JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience

Preferred Education

Bachelor's Degree

Minimum Experience

2 years in a corporate finance or FP&A role

Preferred Experience

2 years in a retail environment

Licenses/Certifications

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, knowledge of Hyperion PBCS and Oracle a plus, and expertise in financial modeling

Ability to lead Operations and Finance meetings

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills

Hours & Conditions:
Monday – Friday 8 hour day in office setting,

Physical Requirements:

Ability to maneuver and regularly lift and or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
