The Role
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Design and develop clear data visualizations (charts, graphs, dashboards) to represent financial metrics and KPIs effectively.
- Analyze financial data to detect trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities, transforming these insights into compelling visual stories.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes with precise data and analysis.
- Work collaboratively with finance and accounting teams to refine reporting processes and enhance the accuracy of financial data.
- Implement best practices in data visualization to improve comprehension and engagement among stakeholders.
- Educate and assist team members and stakeholders in understanding and utilizing data visualizations.
- Participate actively in the continuous development and improvement of the Vena ecosystem.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related analytical or technical field.
- Experience in data analysis or financial analytics.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Effective project management skills, with a proven track record of leading projects and documenting processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and other business intelligence tools such as Alteryx, Toad, and/or Tableau.
Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing.
