- CSDE Certified and/or Non-Certified (Bachelor Degree preferred)
- Rates range from $20/hr to $40/hr contingent on experience, degree and certification
- Provide small group instruction in the areas of language acquisition, reading and/or math.
- Provide readiness skills to Kindergarten students.
- Provide readiness services to kindergarten students.
- Monitors student progress throughout the duration of the program using various assessment tools, if appropriate.
- Complies with all published and disseminated rules, regulations, and policies of the Board of Education.
- Provides instruction, as directed by the Administrator/Director/Coordinator/Teacher to students in need of intervention.
- Respects the privacy of the people for whom services are provided.
- Provides feedback on student progress to the Administrator/Director/Teacher.
- Establishes and maintains sound relationships with students, parents, teachers, non-teaching personnel, and administrators.
- Good organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to ten (10) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
- The noise level in this environment is quiet to loud depending upon the activity in the particular part of the day.
