    Description

    We are looking for a Sustainability Program Manager!

    Are you passionate about promoting sustainability and resilience efforts within a city environment?



    About the Company:

    Join us in our mission to lead and coordinate sustainability programs and initiatives in the city!



    Job Summary:

    • Direct and coordinate activities for the City's Green Action Plan and Resiliency Action Plan
    • Develop goals, policies, and budget for sustainability and resiliency efforts
    • Provide administrative support to the Director of Public Works/City Engineer


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Identify environmental issues and develop effective city-wide responses
    • Collaborate with other departments and provide technical support
    • Evaluate environmental aspects of projects and ensure compliance with regulations
    • Research regulations and implement changes for compliance
    • Develop programs to promote sustainability and educate the public
    • Prepare and present reports, presentations, and white papers


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of environmental programs, sustainable energy, and climate issues
    • Ability to coordinate and direct sustainability programs
    • Strong communication and project management skills


    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
    • 5 years of experience in environmental program administration
    • Driver's license required; Certified Energy Manager registration preferred


    Physical Requirements:

    • Work in both office and field settings, occasional travel required
    • Ability to stand, sit, bend, lift, and operate office equipment
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
