Position Purpose The Violence Prevention Program Manager responsibilities include leading and supporting the Violence Prevention Committee which is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects and education relating to the workplace violence.
The program manager collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to mitigate the risks of workplace violence events.# The function of the role of program manager has authority to make decisions on program and ensure its effectiveness.
The program manager is provided sufficient time and resources to coordinate and lead the violence prevention program.# The program manager leads in the design and implementation of the violence prevention program with a systemic approach that defines the program performance and activities based on annual risk assessments to identify existing or potential hazards for assaults/violence committed against employees and review of data to identify the frequency, location, causes, and consequences of violence against employees.
