Job DescriptionThe challenge of the Technical Project Managers:
We are actively seeking 2 talented Technical Project Managers (TPM) to be the lead subject matter experts for our customer's manufacturing test development projects including test software, test hardware, and integration.
The Test Card and Server Rack TPM will be supporting test card and server rack engineering development projects and the Functional test TPM will be supporting functional test network engineering projects.
You will have the chance to network with multiple customer teams, suppliers, engineers, as well as a dream team of experts to maximize support.
Your contribution in this role:
[Test Card and Server Rack TPM] Coordinate custom test fixture development activities and dependencies across internal teams and external partners[Test Card and Server Rack TPM] Coordinate server rack test development and deployment activities and dependencies across internal teams and external partners[Functional test TPM] Coordinate network test hardware and software development and deployment activities and dependencies across internal teams and external partnersManage test development projects and initiatives through planning, development, and deployment to support NPI and volume manufacturing Manage procurement, schedule, logistics, and risk management for manufacturing test solutions and maintain alignment with NPI program schedules Coordinate the proposal and selection process of suppliers for test fixture components and joint design manufacturer (JDM) partner solutionsDrive communication with internal stakeholders, vendors, and contract manufacturers for status reviews, identifying problems, escalating issues, creating solutions, and implementing improvements via meetings and dashboardsMaintain and co-author technical documentation used for test plans, test processes, and initiatives, including creating presentations, dashboards, and requirements documents Evaluates technological choices (network/hardware related, and technology/code related) by querying providers and understanding enough about implications to make choices for the organization that have an appropriate balance between cost /benefit today and future implications and limitationsSupport sales areas as the TPM to push for complex projects and create confidence with the customer to work with Averna. This includes the creation of information to our department showing our capabilities as engineering team including industry trends, standards and typical industry challenges to test their products.
QualificationsThe ideal candidate:
Degree:
A bachelor's degree in computer or electrical engineering, industrial design, or manufacturing related fieldRequired: 5+ years experience with project management in high-visibility, strategic areas with strong written/verbal communication, and interpersonal skills 5+ years experience with manufacturing test industries[Test Card and Server Rack TPM] Experience with printed circuit board (PCB) assembly, component testing, and soldering techniques[Test Card and Server Rack TPM] Experience with specific firmware domains, such as Baseboard Management Controller (BMC), Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe) switches, and logic design[Functional test TPM] Network and network switches production and testing experience[Functional test TPM] Board level, system level, and integration level test[Functional test TPM]Experience with different testing approaches (functional, performance, stress) in the manufacturing environmentExperience with managing suppliers and partners in implementing test requirements Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing frameworksIn-depth knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g.
, Agile, Waterfall)Preferable:
