We are seeking an experienced Life Science sales professional to take ownership of the Cell Product business unit and drive growth in sales.
Management of Technical Sales in the cell products and in vitro research areas
Management of Business Development in the cell products and in vitro research areas
Setting goals and developing plans for business and sales growth and achieve the goals by conducting the following actions.
Lead generation - Identify and research potential clients.
Build professional relationships & network with pharmaceutical and agrochemical leaders and researchers.
Coordinate with sales teams to develop mutually beneficial proposals.
Identify and qualify opportunities by performing promotional presentations of our products and services with existing and new customers.
Develop a work plan for each key account and monitor and report progress regularly.
Manage a growing pipeline of opportunities, complete basic research on prospects, and maintain accurate records.
Work closely with leadership to support execution of strategy and tactics to achieve business objectives.
Plan, participate, and promote to potential customers in industry conferences and exhibitions to increase. awareness of our broader capabilities.
Support on market research, promotional material generation, and database management.
Maintain and grow technical knowledge on product lines, literature, and competitive products.
Drive the end-to-end sales process.
Prepare and submit sales contracts.
Training the sales staff.
Skills & Qualifications
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for client communications, promotions, presentations, discussions, and more
Strong foundational knowledge and learning ability in science and high level of interest in business.
Critical thinker with ability to execute decisions and ideas.
High ability to execute decisions effectively with a quick turnaround and take the responsibility for the results.
Ability to manage timelines for his/her own tasks as well as other involved parties' tasks to deliver products and services on time.
Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Google Suite (Drive, Mail, Calendar), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce, HubSpot, and other toolsProfessional appearance and communication skills
Capable of precisely preparing and managing documents
Capable of precisely completing data entry and management
Minimum of bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in life science fields such as Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Organic Chemistry, Biotechnology, Medical Sciences, etc.
Advanced degree a plusAt least 5 years of experience in the business development, account management, and/or lead generation, in the cell products and/or in vitro research fields
Experience in managing sales or business development teams (preferred)
High ability to solve problems tenaciously with a level head even if it is a difficult challenge.
High ability to build, maintain, motivate a strong and collaborative team of individuals.
Sharp negotiation and networking skills
Possesses a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Language:
English (native/fully professional level)
Travel:
Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% of work time
