    The Opportunity ...:

    Reporting to the Director of Corporate Human Reosurces and Talent, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Generalist to join our team in Chicago, North America. As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR support to employees and managers across our Corporate functions. This role requires a strong understanding of HR policies and procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Act as the main point of contact for employees and managers on HR-related matters, providing guidance and support in areas such as employee relations, performance management, employee engagement, and policy interpretation.
    • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training and development, performance evaluations, and offboarding.
    • Conduct investigations and facilitate resolution of employee complaints, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws.
    • Support the implementation and administration of HR programs and initiatives, such as compensation and benefits, talent management, and employee wellness.
    • Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
    • Assist in the development and delivery of HR training programs to enhance employee knowledge and compliance.
    • Stay updated on HR best practices and employment laws to ensure compliance and recommend improvements to HR policies and procedures.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational initiatives and foster a positive work environment.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
    • Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
    • Proven experience in employee relations, performance management, and HR program administration.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
    • Proficient in HRIS systems and other HR-related software.
    • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
