Your Impact:

As an HR Generalist you will,


Key Responsibilities:

Enhance HR Processes: Update and maintain HR and employee-related forms to ensure compliance and consistency across the organization.

Training & Onboarding: Develop and implement effective training and onboarding programs to welcome and integrate new employees.

Policy Management: Assist with updating and maintaining the Company Handbook and HR procedures manual.

Employee Support:Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits (health, dental, 401k, PTO, FMLA) and general personnel issues.
-
Orientation Activities: Schedule and conduct new employee orientation, including meetings and paperwork compilation.
-
Benefit Administration: Conduct benefits enrollment and assist with administration of health, dental, vision, disability, and retirement plans.

Performance Reviews: Assist the HR Manager with the annual performance review process.
-
Record Maintenance: Maintain personnel e-files, PTO records, FMLA, and short-term disability documentation.

Event Coordination:Help organize employee meetings and group events, including preparing agendas and arranging facilities.
-
Compliance & Reporting:Assist with workers' compensation injury reporting, OSHA compliance, employment verification, and EEO-1 reporting.

Project Assistance:Support the HR Manager with various projects and assignments as needed.


Must Haves

To thrive in this role, you should have:


  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 2-3 years of HR experience.

Skills & Knowledge:


  • Indepth knowledge of HR functions, including benefits administration, recruitment, and employee training programs.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and relationshipbuilding abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with electronic records management systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.

Physical Requirements:


  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed.

Nice to Haves

  • Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese and/or Cantonese is highly preferred.
