    Description


    LHH is actively searching for an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join a team as a Patient Representative in Santa Monica, CA.

    As the primary point of contact for both providers and members, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless and positive experience through inquiries, resolutions, and valuable assistance.

    Position Type: 100% Onsite


    Responsibilities:


    Provide exceptional assistance to providers and members through various channels, addressing inquiries related to eligibility, primary care physician selection, and claims with a commitment to prompt and courteous service.

    Skillfully manage inbound calls, directing them to the appropriate staff or department while responding to routine inquiries. Initiate outbound calls to schedule patient appointments after hospital admissions.
    Generate and distribute system-generated reports and letters, including explanation of benefits, acknowledgment letters, authorization letters, and customer service reports.
    Register patients accurately and proficiently by checking Insureds name, relationship, and policy number are correct.
    Complete and accurate Medicare screening questions answered on all Medicare patients.
    ID Insurance card and Physicians orders are scanned into Meditech.
    Collect copayments/deductibles


    Qualifications:

    Educational Background:
    High school diploma/GED is required.
    Minimum of 2 years in healthcare front office, customer-facing experience.
    Familiarity with health insurances and EMRs is highly desired.
