    Description:

    • This role will primarily be responsible for timekeeping support.
    • Responsible for interfacing with the different departments onsite, going into different buildings and talking to people about the system, challenges with timekeeping, etc.
    • Responsible for collecting this information and feedback to make corrections within the timekeeping system.
    • Responsible for sitting down with the individual to provide troubleshooting support.
    • Responsible for working with the hiring leader to characterize/prioritize these issues so that the leader can escalate to IT if needed.
    • Responsible for coordinating site visits from different organizations who come to visit the site.
    • Responsible for creating PowerPoint presentations and getting rooms booked for the timekeepers to hold the team
    • Daily touchpoints to discuss which departments the resources should visit on that particular day.
    • Start by touching base with the supervisors/managers in that department to ask questions about their timekeeping needs, what types of projects they are working on, what is/is not working so that they have a baseline understanding of what assistance they can provide during their visit
    • Build relationships with managers so that they can be part of the individual teams' daily meetings to discuss any issues.
    • The first half of the day will be meeting with the teams and individuals.
    • The 2nd part of the day will be used to troubleshoot issues and provide resolutions.
    • During the first week, their leader will provide them with site maps and lists of each person within the department and provide them with any history for that team.
    • Will run through common issues, so they have a better understanding of what to watch for.
    • During the 2nd and 3rd week, responsible for making appointments with different departments, again, to be part of their daily meetings to discuss and troubleshoot issues.

    Qualifications:

    • Prior experience in the UKG/Workday system.
    • Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
    • Teams and Outlook
    • Proficiency/experience with ticketing system, preferably ServiceNow.
    • During this time, they will meet with the other timekeepers to understand how to triage and provide support to the users
    • Timekeeping experience in any system
    • Strong ability to organize, schedule and plan.
    • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
    • Strong attention to detail to recognize and understand trends.
    • Strong sociable personalities.
    • Someone who is not afraid to interface with people, answer tough questions and provide answers/feedback.
    • A strong problem solvers.
    • Ability to listen to understand.
    • Ability to provide constructive coaching.
    • Prefer experience with timekeeping with union contracts, etc. and/or timekeeping within larger organizations.
    • Relationship skills.

    Benefits:

    Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
