Description
Job Type Full-timeDescriptionFIC America Corp. is looking for crane operators to join the team. Operate crane equipment to safely lift and move materials, machines, or products in many different directions.Essential Job FunctionsDetermine load weights and check them against lifting capacities to prevent overload.
Operate remote control, move crane hoist over material to be loaded or unloaded, and follow hand signals of authorized floor personnel.
Direct helpers engaged in placing blocking or outrigging under cranes.Inspect and adjust crane mechanisms or lifting accessories to prevent malfunctions or damage.
Review daily work or delivery schedules to determine orders, sequences of deliveries, or special loading instructions.
Report equipment malfunctions or defects to supervisor.
Clean and maintain work areas to ensure proper functioning and safe work conditions.
Load or unload bundles, using moving equipment.
Move dies from press to home position or vice versa, using equipment. Follow standard work instructions.
Perform other duties assigned.
Other Job FunctionsComply with FIC's Safety policies and procedures.
Comply with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 procedures and standards.
Perform 5-S activities.
