Description
Performs duties to monitor work in process workflow, including all conveyor and ASRS flow, to keep work in process flowing effectively to and through all warehouse departments.
- Monitor all conveyor flow throughout the warehouse and notify Supervision if/when flow is too low for an area or flow is too heavy to an area and actions are required to maintain efficient flow.
- Contact Maintenance if jams or conveyor malfunctions are detected.
- Maintain conveyor downtime log and notify management if downtime in any area exceeds 15 minutes.
- Monitor ASRS Flow to keep the ASRS No Read line clear and to keep the ASRS operational.
- Monitor ASRS crane performance.
- Perform resets as needed and notify Maintenance when cranes are down.
- Monitor Smart Moves crane performance, ASRS volume, and ASRS invoices.
- Retrieve totes from the ASRS when required to manually retrieve.
- Monitor and facilitate overall flow of orders by reviewing the Picklist Browse Screen to ensure shipping deadlines are met.
- Facilitate the movement of priority orders through Order Filling, Book Processing, and Shipping.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
