Duties:


  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel vehicles and equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
  • Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on diesel engines
  • Repair or replace faulty components, such as brakes, transmissions, and engines
  • Test drive vehicles to ensure proper functioning after repairs

Skills:


  • Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines
  • Experience with vehicle maintenance and repair, including brakes, transmissions, and engines
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems in diesel vehicles
  • Ability to operate a crane for lifting heavy parts or equipment
  • Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients and address their concerns
  • Familiarity with soldering techniques for electrical repairs
  • Experience working in a dealership or automotive repair shop is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently with mínimal supervision
  • Detailoriented with strong problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and meet deadlines
