    The Position:
    The Accounts Payable (AP) Manager oversees all aspects of the Accounts Payable department, including inventory management, purchase cards, travel and expense processing


    Responsibilities Include:
    Ensuring timely payment of vendor invoices and expense reports, maintaining accurate records, and implementing process improvements
    Manages AP operations, including customer and vendor relations, disbursement activities, and tax-related matters across multiple ERP systems
    Manages accounting functions such as general ledger maintenance, accounts receivable, and project accounting, ensuring accuracy and timelines
    Develop and enforce policies and procedures, oversee monthly financial closing, provide accounting assistance to project managers, and serve as a liaison with external parties
    Plays a crucial role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency within the organization
    Completes all necessary managerial tasks for direct reports including hiring, training, holding meetings, addressing performance issues, and approving payroll


    Schedule:
    Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm

    Requirements

    Healthcare AP experience preferred
    Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
    Seven or more years of accounting experience
    Minimum three years Accounts Payable experience
    One or more years of leadership experience included
    Experience working with generally accepted accounting principles and accounting software
    Must have large ERP AP system experience, as well as 1099 filing experience
    Strong personal computer and business solutions software skills
    Strong interpersonal skills for interacting accountants, clients, and upper management
    Strong analytical and problem solving skills
    Good presentation skills for educating internal clients on accounting principles
    Good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
