    Description

    Electrical Engineer

    Salary:
    Up to $120,000 Base + Benefits

    COGS has forged a strategic partnership with one of the world's most enduring and esteemed mining and metals enterprises.

    In response to the expansion of one of their most lucrative manufacturing facilities, they are actively seeking an adept Electrical Engineer to integrate into their engineering group, who would be responsible for the automation implementation, design, protection, troubleshooting and repair of bespoke manufacturing equipment and machinery operations.


    Since acquiring several other firms, they are looking to continue with their philosophy of modernizing industry as they 'bet big' on US Manufacturing and after the acquisition of a holistic metals recycling company (who design, build and maintain bespoke equipment in house), they are looking for niche talent to bolster their growing workforce.


    Responsibilities:


    Designing customized electrical and software solutions for manufacturing automation and safety, with expertise in project management to maintain scope, schedules, and budgets.

    Assisting in specifying, manufacturing, and validating systems integrating various components like hydraulics, pneumatics, servos, motor drives, relays, and robotics.

    Creating user manuals, diagrams, and drawings for documentation purposes.

    Specifying, installing, and managing data acquisition, monitoring, and reporting solutions for accurate stakeholder information.

    Providing technical support and training to Maintenance and Production teams as necessary.

    Serving as a liaison between Maintenance and IT for critical infrastructure and processes.


    Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.

    5+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer.

    Proficiency in MS Office, Visual Basic, AutoCad, , Ethernet Networking, SCADA & HMI systems.
