- Collaborate with the production team to determine material requirements and specifications for production orders.
- Set machine adjustments and operate machinery to mix concrete and produce products according to specifications.
- Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met, removing items that do not meet QC standards.
- Perform adjustments, repairs, and preventative maintenance on equipment as assigned.
- Ensure all safety devices are in working order throughout the plant.
- Operate forklift as needed and maintain a clean and organized machine area.
- Perform daily cleaning in the work area and on equipment.
- Assist the QC team in maintaining high-quality products through measurements, weighing, gathering samples, and conducting tests as needed.
- Undertake additional duties related to the manufacturing process as required.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical aptitude required.
- Experience operating construction machinery or equipment.
- Previous experience in a production-based environment.
- Leadership experience in leading a team.
- Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods, walk, use hands and fingers, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and hear.
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders, working at elevation.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds to shoulder height and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
- Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
