Description
We are searching for a skilled and enthusiastic Finance professional to join our team in Valencia. The Cost Analyst role involves managing financial records, ensuring accounting standards compliance, and analyzing financial data with a focus on variance analysis. This position plays a crucial role as a Business Partner supporting local Plant Management, the Plant Controller, and Business Unit teams. Please note that this is an on-site position requiring 100% presence, with no relocation or visa support provided.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee month-end closing and SAP cost accounting tasks
- Coordinate annual budget process at plant level
- Calculate and analyze standard costs, collaborating with Production and Engineering
- Manage local inventory control and conduct cycle counts
- Analyze financial performance KPIs, identify cost drivers, and support improvement initiatives
- Prepare variance analysis and financial reports complying with regulations and company guidelines
- Assist in financial analysis for capital investment requests and business cases
- Collaborate with Plant Controller and Management team to enhance profitability and productivity
- Handle additional responsibilities as required
Your Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- 5+ years of financial accounting/analysis experience, preferably in an industrial/manufacturing setting
- Proficient in Excel and SAP
- Familiarity with IAS/GAAP and cost accounting standards
- Strong written, verbal, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive
Pay:
$59, $71,075.21 annually
