As a
Zone
Sales Manager, you will contribute to driving the demand for PPG products and lead the protective coatings sales representatives in your designated region: New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Washington, Oregon, and California.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive demand of PPG products in all select segments through development of target accounts relationships
  • Work closely with National Accounts Managers & Key Account Managers in local plants
  • Leads and grows major account relationships by evaluating prospect's needs and developing a Value Proposition and addressing the decision makers within select account.
  • Achieve sales plans & profitability objectives through, but not limited to, Advantage Product placement
  • Work closely with the ESPM team on capital projects
  • Generate new business and ensure continuing sales growth by staying on top of newer products, techniques, & competitive trends.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the chemicals and coatings field with a competent understanding of PPG product technology.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, & decision making skills with an interest in sales.
  • A degree in chemistry, business management, engineering, or equivalent work experience, is desirable.
  • Travel is required.
  • Must demonstrate average computer skills including customer relationship management CRM software, internal database, electronic mail software, presentation software (PowerPoint), Spreadsheet software (Excel), word processing software (Microsoft Word)
