Come find out what Anritsu has to offer youAs a Field Service Engineer based in the San Francisco Bay Area, you will have the responsibility for performing on-site installation, repair and calibration of test and measurement equipment and systems.

    You could also be asked to diagnose mechanical, hardware, software and systems failures, using established procedures. Utilizing experience and exercising troubleshooting skills to determine most efficient method(s) for resolution of problems to minimize customer downtime.


    Key Responsibilities include:


    Perform installation of single or multi-rack systems, including chambers, comprised of multiple Anritsu equipment at the customer sitePerform on-site upgrade, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of Anritsu systemsResponsible for scheduling frequent domestic travel with sometimes less than 24 hours' notice and occasionally for extended periods.

    Ensures that appropriate quality standards are adhered to in the performance of the positionParticipates in ongoing efforts of process and product improvementsCapable of completing special assignments/projects as assigned by managementAbility to accommodate 75% or greater in travel requiredThis position will report to the Head of Technical Services in TXRequirements:

    Prior calibration/repair experience in the field of test and measurement equipment preferredPrior work with test and measurement systems preferredStrong Metrology knowledge and experience preferredBS/BE degree in computer science/engineering/telecommunications preferredPrior Anritsu product/system experience preferredPrior on-site work experience requiredWorking knowledge of ISO-9000, ISO-17025, ANSI Z540 preferredIn order to be successful in this role, the following competencies and behavior skills are required:Ability to work in a complex business structureLogical decision making and strong organizational skillsUnderstanding and demonstrating customer focused cultureSkilled at interpersonal communications as part of problem solvingSelf-motivated and self-managed capabilityStrong written and verbal communication skills and customer/employee relationship skillsAbility to work well with cross-functional teamsAbility to operate and progress in stressful situationsThe annual base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000.
