    As a

    Technical Service Engineer


    based in Morgan Hill, CA you will have the responsibility to support technicians and field service engineers who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex microwave/RF/optical test and measurement equipment and components.


    Key Responsibilities include:
    Respond to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software.
    Responsible for distributing and training on information concerning product-specific information, i.e. service notes.
    Identifies and defines assets for possible updates/upgrades and units requiring service to meet ISO specifications.
    Develop service support plans for new products which includes such actions as technician training and test station planning.
    Provide sustaining service engineering for the support life of a product.
    Identify and help develop specialized test stations needed by the service center for product support.
    This position will be reporting to the Customer Service Manager based in Morgan Hill.


    Requirements:
    Prior calibration/repair experience in the field of test and measurement equipment preferred
    Prior work with test and measurement systems preferred
    Strong Metrology knowledge and experience preferred
    BS/BE degree in computer science/engineering/telecommunications preferred
    Prior Anritsu product/system experience preferred
    Prior on-site work experience required
    Working knowledge of ISO-9000, ISO-17025, ANSI Z540 preferred

    The annual base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
