Field Service Engineer - San Jose, United States - Job Juncture

As Field Service Representative you will be responsible for providing on-site service, including preventive maintenance, calibration, installation, and training across all product lines primarily in the western USA. The ideal location for this role is the Bay Area, yet other locations within the territory are also feasible. The base salary range for this position is between $35.00 and $40.25 per hour, depending on technical and service experience within the analytical instrumentation field. The compensation package includes bonus opportunities. Furthermore, the company offers full benefits, monthly car allowance/mileage, profit-sharing bonuses, and a $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of instruments at customer sites within the assigned region.
• Managing inventory, trip planning, and handling administrative tasks associated with service functions.
• Traveling up to 75%, including overnight stays, for service and maintenance purposes.

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex analytical instruments.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and a strong commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Proficiency in working with electronic schematics, test equipment, and repair tools.
• Hold an associates degree in engineering or chemistry (mandatory).
• Possess a valid driver's license and passport.
