We are seeking a Vertical Marketing Manager (m/f/d). This role can be based in one of our production sites in Loveland, Colorado or Fellbach, Germany.

    About the Role:

    The Vertical Marketing Manager (VMM) is a key strategic position within the Marketing team. The VMM drives growth by leading the assigned vertical strategic plan for the respective markets. This includes identification of market drivers and opportunities, plus understanding OTT HydroMet's solutions, and developing and executing strategies to drive growth in existing and adjacent markets. The VMM works closely with Senior Leadership to set long-term corporate strategies. The VMM also works across the organization on campaign development and implementation to drive revenue, expand our market share, and enhance brand leadership. This role will ensure alignment with the rest of the Hydro+Met team, the broader Marketing team, Sales, Service, R&D, and Operations. A successful VMM is customer focused, strategic, action oriented, agile, and leads by influence to identify and implement growth initiatives.

    This position may also assume responsibility for cross-functional, company-wide and/or Marketing-wide initiatives as required to support organizational priorities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for global sales growth within the respective market segment
    • Continuously follow industry trends, understand market drivers to identify opportunities and threats, and convert this knowledge into insights, strategy, and actions
    • Develop market expertise, including segment size, growth, trends, competitive dynamics, and insightful segmentation.
    • Lead segmentation of the Hydrology and Meteorology market, including customer persona-development.
    • Contribute to the development of the annual Strategic Plan
    • Lead a cross-functional team to create and execute an annual Commercial Plan with specific tactics to deliver annual growth objectives, while demonstrating the agility and acumen to quickly change direction if necessary to address new opportunities or threats.
    • Develop campaign plans to deliver the revenue and gross margin targets of the portfolio and strategic priorities. Guide development of global content to support the Hydrology and Meteorology campaigns.
    • Collaborate with Sales, Service, and Marketing leaders to implement growth strategies and adapt when needed.
    • Drive cross-functional alignment with the rest of Marketing team, Sales, and Service
    • Bring customer-centricity to all commercial activities by gathering VOC to be the internal expert on Hydrology and Meteorology customer needs and pain points.
    • Champion customer buying journey learnings to inform product, service, and solution positioning.
    • Responsible for aligning go-to-market strategies for new products across sales, service, and product management.
    • Understand and leverage the relevant Veralto Enterprise System (VES) tools, including: Problem Solving, Daily Management, Launch Excellence, Customer Segmentation, VOC
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other Marketing advanced degree desired
    • 5+ years of relevant experience in commercial strategy, product management, product innovation, and product commercialization
    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a global environment with people from different countries and cultures, education, work backgrounds, and working styles
    • Must have high level of strategic agility, excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills, and demonstrated abilities to drive results
    • Able to travel up to 25% of the time
    • Fluent in English

    The salary range for this role is $105, $150, This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future.

    This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
