Description

The Schwarz IT department is responsible for managing the entire digital infrastructure and all software solutions for companies within the Schwarz Group.

This includes selecting, providing, operating, and continuously developing IT infrastructures, platforms, and business applications.

In order to support the business processes of various departments with optimal IT solutions, Schwarz IT consults with these departments to understand their requirements and collaborates with them to develop professional and high-performance IT solutions.

Your responsibilities will include expanding and managing our internationally used IT portfolio for AI-based video analysis and computer vision, as well as creating new concepts and ideas in collaboration with internal departments at Lidl, Kaufland, and Schwarz Digital.

You will also be responsible for gathering requirements, providing consulting services, and project management.

This will involve conducting market analysis, evaluating and selecting IT solutions in the field of AI-based video analysis and computer vision (such as object recognition, license plate recognition, heat mapping, customer counting, anomaly detection, fraud detection, frictionless shopping, and many others), and coordinating the implementation according to IT guidelines (information security, labor law, data protection, IT strategy, architecture).

Additionally, you will coordinate testing, implementation, piloting, and international rollout in our 14,000+ Lidl and Kaufland stores, as well as working closely with external suppliers and partners.

To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in engineering or computer science, relevant training, or several years of professional experience.
